On February 11-12, 2025, ADMIRAL project partners gathered in Kotka (Finland) for the fifth Consortium Meeting in person. CTLup took part in the event as partner involved in data collection from the pilot sites, assessment of solutions, and pilot implementation.
The first day started with an opening session led by VTT and Steveco Oy’s CEO. On this occasion, ADMIRAL partners received a project status overview, deep-dived into sustainable development in logistics and transport, explored business models for sustainable transport, engaged in an extensive session on project communication, dissemination, and exploitation, assessed potential solutions and impacts, concluded the working sessions with a General Assembly and team-building and communication exercises, strengthening the collaborative spirit of the project.
The second day of the consortium meeting kicked off with the presentation of all ADMIRAL four pilots current status, including updates on their technical implementation progress, hypothesis testing, as well as sharing their latest challenges. Concerns about data availability and reliability were assessed, as were approaches to problem solving. The day continued with a demonstration of the ADMIRAL marketplace, showing the latest user interface, features and functionality. Finally, the consortium had the opportunity to visit the Kotka Maritime Centre, where partners were able to try out simulators for seafaring, port operations, and logistics.
This Consortium Meeting marked another milestone in the ADMIRAL project and showed once again the commitment and passion that unites all the partners in the mission to change the logistics sector towards minimising emissions.
