Over 50 participants joined the Trendline General Assembly Meeting in Prague (Czech Republic) on 22 and 23 February 2024. Co-funded by the EU, the project brings together 29 European countries for designing and implementing common methodologies for data collection and analysis for road safety key performance indicators (KPIs).
Specifically, the General Assembly Meeting was organized in order to cover three main topics:
- Status of the data collection for the eight “traditional” road safety KPIs in the different countries;
- Integration of road safety KPIs in national road safety strategies and action plans;
- Status of the design and specifications for the 10 new experimental indicators being considered.
CTLup took part to the meeting with its road safety experts, Davide Shingo Usami and Brayan González-Hernández, who cover also the role of members of their respective Key Expert Groups (“Speed” and “Distraction”). The Trendline Methodological Guidelines (Version 1.4) have been published for each of the KEG and are now available for the consultation on the website of the project.
