SaferAfrica project receives Prince Michael Awards 2019

SaferAfrica supports national and local governments and stakeholders in order to understand the current weaknesses in the management of road safety, by providing them easily realizable projects, e-learning and examples of international good practice

The SaferAfrica project consortium received the prestigious Prince Michael International Road Safety Awards 2019 for its work in Africa.

The award was presented to the project coordinator, Professor Luca Persia, Director of the Centre for Transport and Logistics Research (CTL) at La Sapienza University of Rome, Susanna Zammataro, Director General of the International Road Federation (IRF) and other members of the consortium at a special ceremony held at The Savoy in London on Thursday 10 December in the presence of His Royal Highness Prince Michael of Kent.
