CTLup will join the event organised by Sustainable Sector of Sapienza University of Rome, “Sapienza for Sustainable Mobility – European Mobility Week“, scheduled on Tuesday 17th September 2024, from 10 am to 4 pm, on the Rectorate building portico in Piazzale Aldo Moro (main campus).
The event, in collaboration with with Polizia stradale, INAIL and FIAB (the Italian Federation for Environment and Cycling), will be part of the European Mobility Week (16-22 September 2024) and comprise a series of experiential activities aimed to improve the mobility in urban contexts and make it more sustainable, deepen the main causes of road accidents, and spread the culture of road safety in order to learn the prevention of accidents and injuries.
During the event, you can:
- discover the Police special means of transport and deepen the road rules;
- use the self-assessment instruments provided by INAIL for the risk of obstructive apnoea, videogames focused on sleep hygiene and road safety, special glasses able to simulate the visual distorsion of alcohol and drugs, and experience the effects of drunk and drug driving;
- try the Crash Test Experience, an innovative system of road education composed by two simulators (overtuning and frontal impact) which will be installed on a 12 m truck, adapted to a big stage and equipped with a large screen;
- rent Sapienza Sport bicycles for free and cross the “Bici-lette, roads to Sapienza” with the Library System of the university;
- rely on the Ciclofficina set up by FIAB for small repairs and maintenance interventions on bicycles;
- admire closely Gajarda, the revolutionary Formula SAE car, and the Biocarrozza, a prototype of electric coach to promote a sustainable tourism.
